Midwest Utility: Four Full-scope Coal-fired Power Station Simulators

The utility uses the simulators to train new and existing operators at three of their coal-fired power stations. Using the new simulators, the utility is able to train incoming operators more efficiently using GSE’s JADE high-fidelity, high-definition plant models. The simulators supports the ongoing education
of the utility’s operations and maintenance staff throughout their careers. Long-term benefits from the simulators also include improved plant performance,
reduced operator risk and increased unit uptime and efficiencies.
